FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q&A

DO YOU OFFER VIDEO CONSULTATIONS?

We do offer video consultations however, we usually require an in person estimate to take exact measurements and evaluate the property. Homeowners are not required to be at the property during this if there is a conflict in schedule. We can always relay the information over via call, text or email.

ARE YOU INSURED AND ARE THERE CONTRACTS INVOLVED?

We are insured with an umbrella policy of up to one million in general liability.

And yes, we have state contracts which are legally binding before starting any project that both parties must sign. These contracts protect both the homeowner and the contractor from legal issues such as injury or death, incomplete or insufficient work, unpaid amounts and so on.

We'd happy to answer any of these questions by contacting us. Please view our contact page.

ARE ESTIMATES FREE?

Yes. Estimates are free within a 20 mile radius of our denver office location. Outside of this is a $30 dollar charge.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ALUMINUM AND PLASTIC COVERS?

Huge difference actually. Plastic is brittle and weaker compared to the strong aluminum counterpart. Even if plastic covers are secured with bolts they can still break and crack very easily at the drill points. They also sag if enough weight is applied (for example; water weight or muddy debris) on top. Most often we find ourselves having to remove these kinds due to damage and have to install with aluminum anyways.

WHICH PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept all major visas, credit and debit. We also accept cash, check, and electronic options like venmo or cash app.

HOW LONG DOES INSTALLATION TAKE TO COMPLETE?

In short, it depends. After the contract signing, we start the project after 3-5 days. Sometimes delays on our inventory can effect these times. The installation on average takes anywhere from 1-3 days depending on the size of the home.

CAN I HAVE ONLY PART OF MY GUTTERS DONE?

This is more on a case by case situation. If we find that certain areas of gutters are more problematic than others then we can agree to do particular gutter sections. It is recommended that the full gutter section from end to end is covered to prevent debris from getting in the exposed areas and clogging underneath the covers.

IS THERE MAINTENANCE REQUIRED AFTER INSTALLATION?

In most cases, no. If you have trees that cause a large amount of overhang then it may be needed every 2 to 4 years to make sure everything is functioning at an optimal level.

WILL THIS CAUSE ICE DAMS OR ROOFING ISSUES?

No. Typically, Ice dams are formed from issues with your roof, such as poor insulation and attic ventilation. If you don't have gutter guards and your gutters are clogged, the water cannot drain. When cold enough, the water will freeze in and/or around gutters which could contribute to ice dams.

And no. Our covers are installed into the gutters only. No part of them is drilled into or installed into the roof which saves you from voiding your roof warranty.
